We are again partnering with Slate Valley Cares for a food drive. Collection boxes are located at the entrances of each school. The school who collects the most donations in pounds will win a day with Miss Lucy Neel. She is a member of the Nullegehanie tribe out of northern Vermont. Miss Lucy will spend the day sharing artifacts and information on the Vermont Abenaki. Donations will be accepted through Feb. 14th.
Photos of our 6th graders partnering with 1st graders to read together each week. What a great way to build excitement for reading and to be good role models!
Today a couple students from grades 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed lunch with Superintendent Brooke Olsen-Farrell and Director of Curriculum Casey O'Meara. Students discussed the overall climate at school, along with an interest in starting up a student voice club and bringing back a student run school store. They were all very well spoken, polite and informative. Great job Cougars!

While in Burlington, one of our 4th graders had the chance to meet musician Noah Kahan!! Finn showed him some dance moves, and in exchange Noah gave him a cool present, along with telling Finn that if he ever attended one of his concerts he would call him up on stage!
Today, 4th graders read winter themed books with 5th graders. They had an excellent time!
