In this program, students engage in choral reading and actively reflect on the text through structured discussions. To enhance participation, students first share their thoughts with a partner, then discuss in small groups, before contributing to the whole-group conversation. Castleton Kindergarten students wrapped up their Community Helper unit with an exciting visit to the local fire and police stations. They enjoyed exploring both facilities and discovering how they operate. A big thank you to Chief Peter and Officer Hayes for making this experience so memorable!

It's Family Lunch Week at CES! Yesterday, our kindergarten and first graders shared a delightful lunchtime with their families, and today it was our second graders' turn! The cafeteria buzzed with smiles, laughter, and heartwarming conversations on both days.
