Red Ribbon week continues. Monday is Superhero day!


Ms. Lusenskas’ and Ms. Countryman’s 4th grade classes took a field trip to Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area where they participated in a Songbird Banding Demonstration with Vermont Fish & Wildlife and Otter Creek Audubon.
The students observed and learned why scientists band birds, how to identify birds from up close and far away, what adaptations birds have, and why they migrate.

Mrs. McCrea's Kindergarten class has been learning about robots in Library. Students used recycled materials in a MakerSpace activity to make robots that looked like themselves.


First graders in Ms. McGarry’s library class have been reading about extreme weather. Today they used the green screen and video equipment to record their own weather forecasts. Stay tuned for their final video.

Ms. Lusenskas’ fourth grade science students observed worms for their adaptation unit. They were asked to describe what they look and feel like as well as what they do. Students will continue to learn about worms and their different adaptations!
