The Slate Valley Universal Preschool Program will be conducting developmental screenings for children 0-5 years of age on Thursday March 31st at Benson Village School.
Screening involves activities that are both fun for young children and help us learn about a child’s motor, cognitive, and language skills. Vision and hearing will also be screened. We encourage any child aged 0-5 years that resides in Benson, Castleton, Fair Haven, Hubbardton, Orwell and West Haven who has not previously been screened to be screened.
If you plan to attend this screening, please call Benson Village School for an appointment.

Typically, our middle school students participate in a sled race every March. Each TA works together to build a sled and there is a race held on the snowy fields outback. This March didn't provide the snow needed for the race, so instead middle school held a sled parade!

Last week, as part of our PBiS School Wide Celebration, our Falcon visited every classroom to say "hello" to all our students.

Our Middle School focus this month was responsible, respectful and kind use of humor. Three students from each grade received awards for excelling in this area. In addition, we thanked Mrs. Demasi for all of her behind the scenes work she does to prepare our report cards to be mailed home and the awards certificates we received today. Congratulations to all! Thank you to Mrs. Demasi!
