Each year two students are selected from our 4th,5th, and 6th grade as recipients of a Director's Award. One student is selected from the band program and one is selected from the choral program. There are specific criteria to earn this award, broken down into two categories: Effort and Citizenship in our music programs. Our 2024 Choral Directors Award was earned by Azeala Wood and our 2024 Band Directors Award was earned by Kayzen Dayton. Congratulations to them both!

Last week, FHGS fourth grade students visited Fort Ticonderoga. It was a beautiful day full of history!
Good morning! We wanted to let you know that we have moved our Memorial Day Program to our gymnasium for today, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 9:30. We hope to see you there! It looks like we have an awesome program planned with singing and poems.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to FHGS! SAVE THE DATE for Tuesday, May 28th - Monday, June 3rd and get ready to empower your reader with book choice. The fair will be open to both parents and students every day from 7:45 - 8:10 and 3:00 - 3:30, as well as during the Celebration of Learning on Thursday, May 30th from 5:00 - 6:00.
