Hat day at FHGS!
Ms. Lusenskas’ and Ms. Countryman’s 4th grade classes took a field trip to Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area where they participated in a Songbird Banding Demonstration with Vermont Fish & Wildlife and Otter Creek Audubon. The students observed and learned why scientists band birds, how to identify birds from up close and far away, what adaptations birds have, and why they migrate.
