Yesterday was Sock Day! Check out these cool socks! Today is Wacky Wednesday and tomorrow we will be looking for clothes that are red or blue or have a 1 or a 2. Dr. Seuss Week is just so fun!
Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday - come dressed in mismatched clothing! Thursday celebrates One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish where we will wear red or blue or something with a 1 or a 2. Friday wraps up Dr. Seuss Week/School Spirit Week with Pajama Day! This celebrates the book Sleep Book. More pictures will be coming, so stay tuned!

Last Thursday Mrs. Clark teamed up with Miss Burke’s first grade class to search for a Gruffalo! They met some other characters along the way and had a lot of fun!

Third graders researched aquatic animals and their habitats. They were able to create 3D models of them using TinkerCad, and also created posters showing the aquatic animals in their habitat.
The Green Mountain Music District V Festival was held Friday, February 10th, at Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, VT. Five CES students were accepted to the Middle School Chorus, they are Avery R., Edie G., Stella B., Isabella S.L. and Averie P..
Last Friday was the 100th day of school, here are a few ways second grade celebrated!
Third graders used the VR goggles to see all of the aquatic animals they had researched in their habitat lesson. That shark was pretty sneaky and scared a few students!

Third grade students were surprised to see their teachers had aged a bit overnight. The teachers decided to celebrate the 100th day of school by coming in dressed as their 100 year old selves!
CES Kindergarten students collected non-perishable items for our local food shelf. As a celebration of the 100th day, students counted the gathered items. They were so happy to count more than double their goal of 100! Great job kindergarteners!
Kindergarten was lucky today and had a visit from a mystery reader! Thank you, Mark Cassidy, for reading to the class! They LOVED it!
