During November, Superintendent Brooke Olsen-Farrell and Director of Curriculum Casey O'Meara hosted two Cookies and Conversation events with middle and high school students. These informal gatherings foster meaningful discussions, allowing students to share their perspectives on the school environment, climate, and any concerns they may have.
Students provided valuable feedback on topics such as the "10 and 2" rule and cell phone use, while both groups voiced their dislike for the Wayfinder program. On a positive note, students highlighted improvements in school meals, their appreciation for their principals, and the value of having a School Resource Officer (SRO).
One standout quote encapsulated the school’s supportive atmosphere:
"If I were to tell someone visiting our school what a strength is, it would be teachers caring about you and encouraging you to be yourself."
